This weekend we visited Sorin's friend Miya and her family in Hastings. Sorin proudly told Oma the night before that we were taking the train to "Haystack". Sorin prepared by packing his back pack full of toys, which actually turned out to be quite useful on the train.
Miya's family lives just across the bridge from where Dada used to work, so we stopped in for a bottle of wine. The kids (and adults!) had so much fun together. Miya's family has a great deck equipped with a barbecue and sand table.
We also walked down to the riverfront for a bit. It was really great to get out of the city and hang out!

Wow! Miya is a big girl. While I see pictures of Sorin all the time and have seen him grow up... Miya remains the baby that she was when we left. So cool to see pics.
